Semaisim Immigration Law Office, PLLC has an opening for Law Clerk position. Law Clerk role requires Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Master of Laws (LL.M.) from an ABA-accredited law school and 1 year of experience in legal research, analysis, and document preparation. Duties include researching case law, statutes, regulations (e.g., INA, CFR, BIA, Circuit court, and other court decisions), and government agency policies (USCIS, ICE, EOIR, DOS) and drafting legal memoranda, motions, briefs, and applications (e.g., asylum, cancellation of removal, VAWA, TPS, SIJS).
